Daline’s Captain Crunch Recipe
Daline was kind enough to share a recipe with us. Daline has a collection of recipes dating back to 1960 and she was kind enough to allow me to share one with you. Do you have a recipe you’d love to share, please send it to me.Â
Captain Krunch Candy
1/3 of a peppermint stick or about 20 mini candy canes.
If using a stick wrap in layers of wax paper then paper bag. Beat the dickens out of it with a hammer. Stress relief.Â
If using mini candy canes, unwrap dumped into a food processor or blender, pulse until a powder.Â
In a large microwaveable glass bowl, melt 3 squares of white almond bark.
Stir on 1st minute, then every 30 seconds until melted. Don’t burn. If you do you will have to start over melting the almond bark.  Â
Add candy cane to almond bark, combine, add Original Captain Krunch Cereal, mixing to coat. I dump and coat, if I need more cereal I add more until there isn’t any more almond bark.
Don’t worry if there is more almond bark left when you’re finished dipping out. Just add more cereal.Â
Layout a long piece wax paper, using 2 spoons make 2 bite-size of the candy. You don’t want large pieces of candy. Two bites are plenty. After you are finished dipping, let the candy set until hardened.Â
Store in an airtight container.

The picture shows miniature marshmallows as a garnish and it looks like they are in at least one piece of the candy, but they are not mentioned at all in the recipe.
Hi Donise. They’re not mentioned in the original recipe, but you’re welcome to try it out and use it in the recipe instead of garnish and let us know how it went. Please send photos.
